MEDIA DAY

Media Day for the 2015 US Open will be hosted by Champions Golf Learning Center on Thursday April 9th from 11:00AM - 1:00PM.  All area media outlets have been invited to send a representative, as well as area "pro" miniature golfers, amateur miniature golfers, and our sponsors and friends to attend Media Day and enjoy a free round of mini golf and lunch on us.  Our goal is to promote the upcoming 2015 US Open, the first sanctioned professional miniature golf tournament to be held in WNC, on May 15-16, 2015.  We are anticipating 40+ pros from all over the US and even from the Czech Republic! along with amateurs and juniors (limited to the first 40 entries).
At Media Day, we will be pairing a "pro" with an amateur, a sponsor and a Media personality for a round of mini golf.  Participants will be able to see how their game compares to the pros - get insight about the "pro" circuit, enjoy lunch and have a brief presentation about the upcoming 2015 US Open and the history of professional miniature golf.  We will also publicly announce our 2015 WNC Open, a one day tournament consisting of 4 rounds, to be held on Saturday April 18th beginning at 11:00AM.  The winners of the Pro Division and the Amateur Division will receive paid entry into the 2015 US Open (must have at least 10 entries in the pro division and 5 in the amateur division).
